Ra Workshop allows two ways of project saving: in the database(recommended) and saving as a file. The file saving method is used for the company to send the projects in an electronic format to the workshop. For further information read Project Management.

Save into the Database
Like the title says, the saved project will be sent to the database. Every database saved will contain materials and projects.

To save a project in the database use File » Save as for new projects or Save in the Database as for existing ones as seen in the picture below:

Save Project as File
This saving method, similar to a Word or Excel save, was made so users can transfer files to one another. A user from a show-room will use this saving method in order to send the projects via email to a workshop.

To save a project as a file you need to use the File » Save in File as... menu and you need to set the name under which the project will be saved.

Deschidere Proiect din Baza de Date
Pentru a deschide un proiect salvat anterior in baza de date se utilizeaza meniul Fisier » Deschide din Baza de Date... care va deschide o fereastra de dialog cu toate proiectele. Utilizatorul selecteaza proiectul pe care doreste sa il deschida si apasa OK.

Deschidere Proiect din Fisier
Deschiderea unui proiect din fisier se realizeaza utilizand meniul Fisier » Deschide Fisier.... Operatia este similara cu deschiderea unui fisier Word sau Excel.
