Some fittings and accessories, like: hinges, locks, mechanisms, etc., are computed based on lenght and height of the frame faltz. For these kind of fittings and accessories we have to define different Ranges that will be used to set different quantities (i.e. for heigth 1 we will compute 2 hinges and for a greater heigth 2 we will compute 3 hinges). The dialog working with the fittings and accessories ranges is accessed from Materials » Fittings & Accessories » Ranges menu as you can see from the picture below:

The dialog window for fittings and accessories ranges allows the following operations: add, change, delete, copy / paste, print, export. For each facility access the corresponding button on the toolbar.

Add Fittings and Accessories Range
Fittings and Accessories range can be added in two ways. The classic way where you have to directly fill in the parameters in the grid. To do this click on the first record (where it says: "Click here to add a new row") and complete the fields in order: System (required) Fittings and Accessories System, Wing Type (required, i.e. frame, side hung, tilt, tilt-turn), Shape (shape type, i.e. rectangle, circle, trapezium),Status Type (i.e. active, inactive, single opening). This mode will allows you to define only these four parameteres. If you want to enter also the ranges you need click to the toolbar's button for adding a new item (the button with a green „+”). Clicking that button will open the dialogue window bellow.

To add a new range value just click on one othe the most left toolbar buttons: 'Add row' and 'Add column'. A new dialog will opened requesting a numerical value. To edit a range interval select a row or a column and click 'Modify' button (the button with the hand) and a new dialog will appear where you cand add min range limit and max range limit. To delete a range just select a cell and click on 'Delete row', 'Delete column' depending on what interval you want to erase. Click Ok button to save all information you update.

Change Fittings and Accessories Range
Select the row you want to modify and edit the desired fields. To modify ranges click to 'Properties' toolbar button (the button with the hand) and use the same methods decribe above in the add fittings and accessories range section. To save the information press the Save button on the toolbar.

Delete Fittings and Accessories Range
Select the rows you wish to erase and press the Delete key or the according button from the toolbar. To save the information press the Save button on the toolbar.
