Ra Workshop User Guide

System's Cuttings

Depending on the profiles used in a joinery structure, the cutting method differs. For example, when making a door without a threshold, we will want to cut the frame at an angle of 90 degrees vertically. We will want the same thing when we want to create a door with a bottom rail. Ra Workshop comes in aid and allows the user to set the type of cut for each type of profile.

Add System Cut
Adding a type of cutting means telling the program what type of cut to use at the binding of two types of profiles. To introduce the data select Cut Type, Profile Type 1 and Profile Type 2. To save the information press the OK button.

The default cutting type used by the program is 45 degrees. This is used when in the system there is no explicit specification of a cut type for a profile combination.

Change System Cut
Select the row with the system cut you want to modify and edit the desired fields. To save the information press the OK button.

Delete System Cut
Select the rows you wish to remove and press the Delete button. To save the information press the OK button.
