Ra Workshop application provide two cutting optimization modes: Simple Cutting Optimization and Stock Optimization. The latest one will get profiles information (lenghts and quantities) from an stock system. To manage you profile's stock you have to access stock dialog.

Stock Menu
The stock dialogue is accessed through Materials » Stock menu as seen from the picture below:

Stock Dialog
The Stock Dialog allows the following operations: add, change, delete, copy / paste, print, export. For each facility access the corresponding button on the toolbar.

Add Stock Item
To add a new profile bar to stock click on the first registration (where it says: "Click here to add a new row") and complete the following fields:

Code. Required. Profile code of the bar that will be added to inventory. If the application won't find the code in the database it will throw an error message. Please read Profile and Color Combination for more information about how a profile code is created to Ra Workshop application.
Name. It's not an editable field. Will autocomplete with name of the profile based on selected code.
Length. The profile length that will be used in optimization process.
Price. Price value per square meter.
Standard Length. Check this flag if this bar is not a rest, but is a standard length bar as you buy it from your profiles' supplier. All standard length will be used in an unlimited quantity in otpimization, because the application consider that if is not in stock you will be able to order new bars from supplier.
Quantity. How many bar pices are in the stock.
Price per m. Price per meter of the bar that will be added to stock.
Currency. Currency in which the profile's price is introduced. For information about the currency conversion system read Currency Exchange Rate page.

To save the information press the OK button.

Use the method specified above if you know the profile codes. If not, you mai click on the Add button on the toolbar that will open a special dialog window with the properties (parameters) of a profile bar that should be added to inventory. This dialog allows you to select a profile based on its profile system and color information. Please see image below:

Change Stock Item
Select the row with the stock bar you want to modify and edit the desired fields.
To save the information to press the Save button on the toolbar.

Delete Stock Item
Select the rows you wish to remove and press the Delete button or the corresponding button on the toolbar. To save the information press the Save button on the toolbar.
