A simple color does not sufficiently define a profile. For example
PVC profiles are rolled on the inside and / or outside. And
aluminum profiles can be painted on the inside different from the
outside. This has led to the emergence combination of colors.
A combination of colors is a structure of 3
colors: the color of the interior, color of the
middle and color of the exterior. By choosing a combination of
colors for a window, the program knows exactly what color the
profiles has on the inside - consequently what color should the
chosen hardware have - and also knows the color the profiles have
on the outside - so what color should the water drip and dranage
cap should have. To better understand, imagine a PVC profile with
white interior and Mahon sheet exterior. For such a profile Ra
Workshop will choose white hardware and brown water drip.
Important: everywhere in this documentation or in the
application where the expressions "profile color", "series color"
or "color list" are used, a combination of colors is to be
understood.

Color Combinations Dialog
The color combinations dialog allows the following operations: add,
change, delete, copy / paste, print, export. For each facility
access the corresponding button on the toolbar.
Examples of color combinations depending on the type of
profile:
- PVC profiles: Golden Oak-Caramel-Golden Oak - the profile has
on the inside a wood imitation foil (Golden Oak), it is Caramel in
mass and has a wood imitation foil outside (see picture).
- Aluminum profiles: 1005 - Honey Yellow. In the case of aluminum
profiles, they are completely painted in the majority of cases.
Thus the combination of colors will be: Honey Yellow - Honey Yellow
- Honey Yellow (see picture).
- Wood Profiles: this case is simple. These will always have the
3 identical colors: spruce-spruce-spruce. Exceptions could be
profiles containing an exterior of aluminum foil.
To identify profiles in reports, each combination of color has a
prefix and a suffix. If these are completed, then the profile's
code in the final reports will be generated by the following
formula: [Color Combination Prefix] + [Base Code Profile] + [Color
Combination Suffix]. Example: FA001-001-3205 (prefix is empty,
FA001-001 is the profile code, 3205 is the combinations of colors
suffix for Golden Oak - Caramel - Golden Oak). Color prefix and
suffix codes are created base on profile manufacturer information
(profile catalogs, price lists, etc). The information submited in
these fields on color combination forms are just some defaults
values that will be used later in profile's color combination
definitions. For more information read
Profile Colors and Prices.
