Despite the fact that fittings and accessories are different, in the application they are found under the same category.
The difference between Fitting and Accessory in RA Workshop application is that accessories are tied by profile manufacturer/supplier.

Accessory examples: cover end, gasket corners for aluminium profiles, etc.
Fitting example: hinge, handle, lock, etc

Fittings and Accessories Menu
The dialogue for hardware and/or accessories is accessed from the Materials » Fittings and Accessories » Fittings and Accessories as seen in the picture below:

The dialog window for fittings and accessories allows the following operations: add, change, delete, copy / paste, print, export. For each facility access the corresponding button on the toolbar.
You can also filter the results in the grid view by Fittings and Sccessories System Plan Options.

Add Fittings and Accessories
Fittings and Accessories can be added in two ways. The classic way where you have to directly fill in the parameters in the grid. To do this click on the first record (where it says: "Click here to add a new row") and fill in the parameters. Because accessories are defined by many parameters, another way to define them has been implemented. The toolbar contains a button for adding a new item (the button with a green „+”). Clicking that button will open the dialogue window bellow:

The following parameters need to be filled:

Code (required, must be unique)
Name (required)
Category. Choose from the list the hardware/accessory category from which the item belongs.

To save the information press the Save button on the toolbar.

Change Fittings and Accessories
Select the row in which the item you want to modify is and edit the desired fields. An easier option of editing is by using the edit button on the toolbar. This opens the window above in which the editing is more intuitive
To save the information to press the Save button on the toolbar.

Delete Fittings and Accessories
Select the rows you wish to remove and press the Delete button or the corresponding button on the toolbar. To save the information press the Save button on the toolbar.
